Welcome to
the Skykomish School District.
Our school district is located in Skykomish, Washington, an old
railroad and logging town. Nestled in
the Cascade Mountains and overlooking the Skykomish River, one
could not ask for a more beautiful, picturesque
setting. The school is a small, rural
K-12 school which serves the town of Skykomish as well as the local
communities of Timberlane, Mill Town, Grotto, Baring, and
Index.
With an
enviable student (approximately 45) to teacher (11) ratio, we have
the luxury of providing small class sizes with significant
individualized instruction and attention. Due to our small size, some of our offerings are
limited, but we are passionate about what we do! We welcome any and all visitors, and hope that you
and your family might find our community and school to be an
attractive alternative to the hustle and bustle of life “down
below.”
